Garden - before landscaping

The garden - before weedkiller. Ignore any reflections from the window, including the 'eyes' in the top right, from Emma's t-shirt. I've noticed that the clothes prop is lying on top of some of the plant pots - the photo must have been taken shortly after I had to rush outside to retrieve the washing when it started raining. I was in a bit of a hurry and grabbed everything, scattering clothes pegs and knocking the prop over.

This is the garden as it is at the moment.. The fence needs a second coat of cuprinol. The weeds are mostly dead now. You can see the 'step' on the left which we intend to remove and re-build further to the right. We are going to remove 2 rows of flagstones from the left to make a 'garden', possibly removing a 3rd row to put down gravel to make a path leading to the gate. At the back-right there is a small gravelled area which we will probably turn into a 2nd bit of 'garden'.

This was our tray of courgettes. Unfortunately some of them have wilted, despite watering and feeding. I've since re-planted some into pots and added more soil to the tray so the roots have a bit more depth.
