There appear to be some strange place names in Shropshire. I noticed these while checking the route to Ironbridge.

I hope there really aren't towns called Dummy2643 and Dummy2792.

I've just found it too, I only live down the road from Bridgnorth (Well, currently in London so can't have a look)
Your site came up when I googled the anomaly. So I'm glad it's not just my eyes going funny!

Map makers always add small changes like made-up roads or villages to their maps so they know if someone has copied them. This maybe related although they're generally a bit more subtle.
